A large proportion of the funding for the work of Watoto Trust is raised through two fairs held in the spring and pre-Christmas at the Tithe Barn, Ditcham by kind permission of Jeremy and Margaret Oates.

In June 2010 an Out of Africa Ball was held in a marquee in a picturesque field at the foot of the South Downs. The marquee was stunningly decorated with foliage, candles, fairy lights and 1920’s memorabilia. Cocktails around outdoor fires were followed by a delicious three course meal cooked by Annie Jones Restaurant and members of the committee. There was a successful auction and dancing to a live band.
