What we do

Watoto Trust funds local communities that are working to help disadvantaged children. We aim to go on supporting the projects we become involved with for as long as our support is needed.

How we work

Watoto Trust is a small charity run by volunteers which operates in such a way as to ensure no overheads, low administrative costs and accountability on the ground.

Who we are

Watoto Trust is effective because of the close working relationship between the UK and African based trustees.  Trustees in Kenya work closely with the local community identifying ways that we can help the people help themselves. We have a group of loyal, hard-working supporters which ensures the success of our fund raising events.

Where we work

Watoto Trust is funding projects in a small town called Njoro.  Njoro is located 20km south west of Nakuru, the third largest town in Kenya. Njoro is situated on the edge of the Rift Valley at an altitude of 2423 m.
